What You'll Be Doing

As a Transfer Settlement Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting and coordinating debt transfer and settlement activities while ensuring operational excellence throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing primary and secondary debt transfer transactions and supporting their successful execution.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external counterparties throughout the settlement process.
• Reviewing transaction documentation and ensuring all required information is complete and accurate.
• Performing due diligence and onboarding-related controls when necessary.
• Maintaining and updating information across internal systems and databases.
• Monitoring transaction progress and ensuring critical deadlines are met.
• Following up on incoming and outgoing payments related to settlements.
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of operational reports and tracking files.
• Liaising with buyers, sellers, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processing.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and controls.
• Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings:

• An academic background in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous exposure to Banking Operations, Financial Services, Loan Administration, Settlements, Trade Support, Middle Office, Back Office Operations, or similar operational environments.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A solid understanding of operational processes and controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• A client-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Languages

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
