What You'll Be Doing

As a Transfer Settlement Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting and coordinating debt transfer and settlement activities while ensuring operational excellence throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing primary and secondary debt transfer transactions and supporting their successful execution.
Coordinating with internal teams and external counterparties throughout the settlement process.
Reviewing transaction documentation and ensuring all required information is complete and accurate.
Performing due diligence and onboarding-related controls when necessary.
Maintaining and updating information across internal systems and databases.
Monitoring transaction progress and ensuring critical deadlines are met.
Following up on incoming and outgoing payments related to settlements.
Supporting the creation and maintenance of operational reports and tracking files.
Liaising with buyers, sellers, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processing.
Investigating and resolving discrepancies while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and controls.
Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings:

An academic background in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous exposure to Banking Operations, Financial Services, Loan Administration, Settlements, Trade Support, Middle Office, Back Office Operations, or similar operational environments.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
A proactive and collaborative mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A solid understanding of operational processes and controls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
A client-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Languages

Fluent English (written and spoken).
