Function

As an All-Round Technical Mechanic, you ensure that hundreds of different machines, tools and dies continue to do what they're supposed to do. You perform preventive maintenance, identify faults and repair machines when necessary. At the same time, you take production planning into account and coordinate your work with team leaders to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

But you're certainly not just tinkering away! You maintain maintenance schedules and calibrations, order parts and liaise with suppliers and external mechanics. The digital side of technology is part of it too. You work with machine software, manage settings and databases and record completed work.

Job Requirements

What do you bring as an All-round Technical Technician?

• You have MBO level education and a technical background or relevant work experience;
• You have technical insight and enjoy investigating and solving malfunctions;
• You are skilled with computers and have an interest in machine software and automation;
• You work independently, accurately and maintain an overview of your tasks;
• You like to contribute ideas on technical improvements and new solutions;
• You communicate easily with colleagues, suppliers and external technicians.
