We are looking for an experienced Technical Engineer – Production Support (L3) to join an international team responsible for supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure in a highly demanding production environment.
You will play a key role in production support, infrastructure project delivery, cloud transformation initiatives, application resiliency, and continuous improvement activities, working closely with business, project, application support, and infrastructure teams across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 Production Support for business-critical applications and infrastructure services.
- Coordinate technical project activities and support the implementation of new applications and infrastructure solutions in production environments.
- Act as the main technical contact for production-related projects and initiatives.
- Ensure application stability, resilience, availability, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with Application Support, Infrastructure, Business, and Project teams to support end-to-end project delivery.
- Drive cloud adoption and contribute to Move2Cloud initiatives.
- Coordinate technical teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, risks, budget, and delivery milestones.
- Define and validate production support SLAs and KPIs.
- Ensure appropriate governance through operational, monitoring, and steering committees.
- Support infrastructure modernization, decommissioning, obsolescence management, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Facilitate the transition of solutions to Production Support and Run-The-Bank teams.
- Participate in critical production deployments, including off-hours and weekend activities when required.
- Promote DevOps, Agile, automation, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, operational, and governance standards.
Skills & Experience
- +5 years of experience in Production Support, Infrastructure Engineering or similar roles.
- Strong experience supporting complex production environments.
- Solid understanding of Linux environments and middleware platforms.
- Experience with monitoring and observability solutions such as Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with Cloud Platforms such as: AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience supporting and coordinating technical infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of application resiliency, disaster recovery, and production governance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with WebSphere.
- Experience with Autosys.
- Experience with CFT File Transfer.
- Experience with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code.
- Knowledge of FinOps, Infrastructure Decommissioning, and Obsolescence Management.
