Perks of becoming a Rhino: You'll get a welcome kit Opportunities for career progression Live on the edge with our health insurance Coverflex meal card Other protocols and special discounts For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills: University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (mandatory) 5-10 years years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQLServer in production environments Grasp in SQLServer installation and configuration, Always-On Availability Groups and FCI operations Proven track record in incident management, production support and performance tuning Strong T-SQL and PowerShell scripting skills: proficient in execution plan analysis, query tuning, and UrbanCode Deploy-driven release execution Understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL Proven ability to independently lead incident resolution, produce root cause analysis, and maintain audit-quality documentation across the full DBA lifecycle Holder of Azure Database Administrator Certification is a plus and Microsoft SQLServer Certifications are valued Familiarity with Jira and DBeaver Fluency in English (C1 Level) Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
