Job Description

Develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to support application requirements.
Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring efficient data modeling and adherence to normalization principles.
Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing tuning strategies.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.
Maintain version control of database scripts and documentation using appropriate tools.
Support production environments by responding to incidents and implementing emergency fixes when necessary

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or similar.
Proficiency in PL/SQL programming with demonstrated experience developing complex stored procedures and functions.
Strong SQL expertise, including query writing, optimization, and performance analysis.
Solid understanding of relational database design principles and data modeling techniques.
Experience with Oracle Database or similar enterprise database management systems.
Knowledge of transaction management, locking mechanisms, and concurrency control.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
