You will join a Portuguese technology company operating in the Digital Health sector, developing software solutions that support healthcare professionals and patients. The company is currently growing its technology capabilities and expanding its solutions into international markets.

Your New Mission

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will contribute to the development and evolution of a technology platform used within the healthcare ecosystem. You will design and develop scalable applications and APIs, work on integrations with external systems, and contribute to architecture, performance and reliability improvements. Working closely with Product, Clinical and DevOps teams, you will help deliver secure and high-quality software within a regulated environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and maintain scalable applications and APIs using .NET technologies.
• Develop and evolve solutions based on C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET.
• Integrate the company’s platform with external systems and services.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and technical improvements.
• Optimise application performance, scalability and system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Clinical and DevOps teams.
• Ensure security, compliance and software development best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues and support other team members.

What You Need to Succeed

Must Have

• Strong professional experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience with https://jobeax.com/link/GrYTXLZMpxEMJknV MVC and/or Web API.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, software engineering principles and clean architecture.
• Professional experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Azure Experience

• Azure App Services.
• Azure Functions.
• Azure Storage.
• SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Cloud monitoring and observability tools.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience within healthcare, Digital Health or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection and compliance requirements.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and tooling.
