Senior .NET Developer (Blazor)

Location: Brussels (Hybrid)

Languages: Dutch and/or French + English

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join an established team working on business-critical applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies, ensuring high-quality code delivery and adherence to development best practices. The ideal candidate combines strong backend expertise with modern frontend development experience and a passion for clean, scalable software.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Strong experience with .NET 8 and C# .
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core) .
• Strong knowledge of Blazor WebAssembly .
• Experience with SQL Server .
• Experience working with MongoDB .
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ or other messaging technologies.
• Experience applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
• Experience building scalable and maintainable enterprise applications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET and Blazor technologies.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
• Develop and optimize database interactions with SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Implement and maintain messaging solutions using RabbitMQ.
• Apply TDD practices and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development standards.
