We are looking for a QC Laboratory Specialist to join our Quality Control team in the area of Wellbeing (pharmaceutical products), ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of physical and chemical analyses. This position is crucial to maintaining our high-quality standards through technical expertise and strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
Perform physical and chemical analyses
Execute tests on raw materials, bulk, and finished products using validated methods.
Laboratory Continuous Improvement
Contribute to process optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects;
Provide technical guidance and support to QC analysts when necessary.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Ensure all activities align with GMP and internal procedures, addressing the issue of compliance;
Support audits and inspections, addressing observations and implementing corrective actions when required.
Document and review analytical data
Record and verify results to support data integrity and double-checking by a second analyst;
Evaluate laboratory documentation and support investigations related to OOS, OOT, deviations, and CAPAs.
Maintain laboratory equipment and environment
Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and qualified;
Promote a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
We are looking for:
• At least 5 years' experience in a Pharmaceutical QC Lab (mandatory);
• Previous experience coordinating laboratory activities, mentoring analysts, or supervising small teams will be considered a strong advantage;
• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field;
• Knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-VIS, FTIR, Karl Fischer, etc;
• Strong knowledge of GMP Finish Product (Medicines) requirements and quality systems;
• Familiarity with ISO 17025, ISO 22716, and/or ISO 13485;
• Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset;
• Good communication skills and team spirit;
• Fluency in English.
