We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join an international technology environment and play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of business-critical applications .

This is a 100% remote opportunity , ideal for someone who enjoys designing robust automation solutions, improving test coverage, and working closely with development teams in a continuous delivery environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Design and implement test automation strategies based on system and business requirements.
Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Build and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG .
Execute automated tests across different environments, analyze results, and identify potential quality issues.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines , enabling continuous validation throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
Monitor the stability and effectiveness of automated tests and continuously improve existing scripts and frameworks.
Identify, document, and track defects discovered during automated test execution.
Work closely with developers and other technical teams to investigate issues and support their resolution.
Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, scalability, and reusability of automation solutions.
Evaluate new testing tools, frameworks, and techniques that can improve the overall QA process.
Validate integrations between different system components and ensure consistency across testing environments.
Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of automation frameworks, test scripts, execution results, and testing procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have:

Professional experience in QA Automation / Test Automation .
Strong hands-on experience with at least one automation framework or tool such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG .
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks .
Solid understanding of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing .
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines .
Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate effectively with development teams.
Understanding of software quality standards and testing best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote and international environment .
Spanish – mandatory professional proficiency.
Must be currently based and living in Portugal – mandatory.

Nice to Have:

Experience with API testing and automation .
Experience with load and performance testing tools .
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience improving automation frameworks, test coverage, and execution times.

100% Remote

You’ll be working within an international environment, collaborating with technical teams to continuously improve software quality and ensure reliable releases.

Important: Professional proficiency in Spanish is mandatory for this position.
