We are looking for a Python Developer – Risk Systems

MAIN TASKS
Design, develop and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Python code.
Contribute to the development of a core framework for data integration and the calculation of market and counterparty risk metrics.
Rapidly prototype solutions to validate new concepts and technical approaches.
Identify performance bottlenecks and software defects and implement effective solutions.
Ensure the performance, quality, scalability and responsiveness of applications.
Develop automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
Deliver applications incrementally in line with evolving business requirements.
Collaborate with international and multicultural teams in a Scaled Agile environment.
Contribute to innovation initiatives focused on process automation, artificial intelligence, development practices and knowledge sharing.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
Professional experience in Python software development.
Strong knowledge of the Python ecosystem, architectural patterns and development best practices.
Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming.
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
Understanding of software design principles for scalable and maintainable applications.
Ability to produce clean, efficient and reusable code.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information to different audiences.
Strong sense of responsibility and sound professional judgement.
Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices is considered a plus.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Availability to work in a hybrid model in Porto or Lisbon, with preference for Porto.
WHAT WE OFFER
This role offers a gross annual salary between €24500 and €47500 , defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
