The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Project Manager – Waste & Water Utilities to join our team and play a key role in delivering complex and high-impact building projects.
Location: Alfragide | Contract type: Full-time | Seniority level: Mid-Senior
Job Responsibilities – What you will build:
In this role, you will contribute directly to shaping our future and creating tangible impact.
You will:
- Coordinate the execution of multidisciplinary hydraulic projects across urban water, agricultural hydraulics, and water resources, ensuring effective communication between internal teams and clients - Define and monitor project schedules, resources, and budgets, ensuring delivery aligned with client requirements - Manage client expectations and priorities, fostering relationships based on trust and transparency - Monitor project progress, identifying challenges and implementing corrective actions when needed - Promote collaboration across production teams, ensuring project objectives are achieved in terms of quality and deadlines - Prepare progress reports and ensure the quality of technical deliverables, including studies, detailed designs, hydraulic models, and cost estimates, in line with agreed standards

You will likely succeed in this role if you bring:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Hydraulics and Water Resources), Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field - Professional experience in project management, preferably within engineering environments - Strategic and analytical thinking, with strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and collaboration skills, fostering client relationships based on trust and transparency - Curiosity to challenge conventions and explore new possibilities - The ambition to grow while helping others grow - Experience in urban hydraulics, agricultural hydraulics, or water resources (valued) - Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) - Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus - Experience with hydraulic modelling tools (EPANET, SWMM, InfoWorks, WaterGEMS) will be considered an advantage
