Job Description We are currently looking for a
Planner
to join Hitachi Rail Portugal.
A Planner is responsible for:
Support Project Managers in the planning, monitoring and control of project activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones and baseline plans using project management tools.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Prepare project performance reports, dashboards and management presentations.
Support project forecasting activities, including workload planning, resource allocation and schedule updates.
Monitor project KPIs and contribute to project performance improvement initiatives.
Support the preparation and follow-up of project invoicing and contractual milestones.
Coordinate project data collection and ensure consistency of project reporting information.
Contribute to risk and opportunity management activities.
Support governance activities, project reviews and management meetings.
Technical & Professional Skills
Good knowledge of Project Management methodologies and principles.
Experience in project scheduling, planning and project controls activities.
Advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Project
and/or
Oracle
Primavera P6 .
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Experience in project reporting, KPI monitoring and performance analysis.
Knowledge of Power BI is considered an advantage.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in PMO, Project Controls, Project Planning or Project Coordination roles.
Experience in railway, transportation, infrastructure or large-scale engineering projects is considered an advantage.
IPMA Certification is considered an advantage.
Fluency in English (mandatory).
