PE Global Recruitment are currently working with a leading Data Centre Construction company to recruit multiple Mechanical Construction Managers to join the team in Sines, Portugal.

These are full time, permanent roles, which will offer rotation packages

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain effective communication with the client and wider project stakeholders.
Prepare and impleme nt method statements and risk assessme nts for mechanical construction activities, ensuring all HVAC deliverables are completed in line with project, quality, and safety requirements.
Coordinate closely with the project team to sequence mechanical installati ons, including pipework, to meet programme milestones and scheduled dates.
Manage the project commercially from handover from estimating through to technical procurem ent of equipment, specialist subcontractors, and suppliers.
Assist in the documentation and costing of scope chan ges, including preparation of monthly valuations and contribution to the final account.
Manage and monitor t he two-week look-ahead progra mme in conjunction with the project team.
Ensure labour resources are planned, mobilised, and maintained in line with programme requirements.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and qual ity, managing and coordinating subcontractor activities on site.
Ensure a ll variations and del ays are identified, documented, and formally notified to project management.
Verify that all plant and materials delivered to site meet agreed specifications and are coordinated, stored, and handled safely and securely.
Ensure full compliance with a ll health, safety, environmental, and governa nce requirements on site.

Requirements

Relevant bachelor’s or master’s in mechanical-related degree or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a Mechanical Construction Ma nager or similar role within an M&E contracting environment is desir able.
Data centre exper ience is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven site environment.
