Have 5+ years of relevant experience in systems programming
Can own complex performance-critical components end-to-end
Are comfortable navigating hardware/software boundaries, memory management, I/O tuning, and concurrency

With a proven track record in:

Systems programming in Rust
Low-level performance optimization
Building high-performance infrastructure and distributed systems

Must-Have Requirements:

Expertise in Rust
Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking fundamentals
Experience in low-level system architecture
Experience with multi-threading, memory layout optimization, or custom allocators
Proven ability to take full ownership of complex challenges from inception to delivery, with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to dive into unfamiliar codebases and optimize them quickly
Comfortable working with minimal abstraction layers in high-performance environments
Level of spoken English: Fluent (C1)

Your day-to-day in this position:

Accelerating distributed systems like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Ray
Building native Rust-based execution engines
Deep performance tuning (e.g., SIMD, cache locality, zero-copy IO)
