We are looking for an Amazing: Java Backend
Seniority: Mid-level (5+ years)
Type of position: Hybrid model in Lisbon. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal!
The amazing you, will have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
5+ years of experience in backend software development with Java, preferably using recent versions of the language;
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, clean code, and software engineering best practices;
Solid experience with Spring and Spring Boot, developing scalable and maintainable backend applications;
Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with Microservices architectures;
Strong experience with MySQL and relational databases, including SQL, database design, and query optimization;
Good understanding of software testing practices, including unit and integration testing;
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a DevOps mindset;
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional development teams;
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand, troubleshoot, and debug complex backend applications;
Fluency in English is mandatory.
