Head of Digital & Ecommerce | B2C Services

This is a new senior role within a growing international business going through a major period of digital change.

Ecommerce is becoming an increasingly important part of the customer journey, and the business is now looking for someone to take proper ownership of its digital performance, platforms and commercial direction.

What you'll be doing

Owning the digital and Ecommerce roadmap across multiple markets
Improving the website, checkout and wider customer journey to increase conversion and revenue
Identifying where self-serve Ecommerce can improve the customer experience
Developing opportunities across pricing, bundling, cross-sell and upsell
Overseeing digital acquisition performance across paid media and SEO
Using data to establish KPIs and prioritise the areas with the biggest commercial impact
Managing a small digital team and helping shape how it develops
Building clear processes around testing, reporting, campaigns and delivery
Managing agencies and ensuring budgets and performance remain on track
Working closely with Sales, CRM, Content, IT and other senior stakeholders
Taking ownership of the wider digital ecosystem and ensuring its different platforms work together effectively

What we're looking for

Senior digital and Ecommerce experience with strong commercial ownership
Experience improving conversion, checkout performance, customer journeys and online revenue
Comfortable overseeing complex websites, Ecommerce systems and digital platforms
Strong knowledge of paid media and SEO, with the confidence to challenge internal teams and agencies
Experience working across multiple markets or currencies
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into clear priorities
Experience leading a small team where focus and prioritisation really matter
Comfortable working within a growing business without lots of layers or resources
Able to introduce change thoughtfully and bring different stakeholders with you
Experience within a B2C service-led business would be useful, but the wider digital and commercial experience is more important

This role needs someone who can see the bigger picture but is still happy to get into the detail when needed. There is plenty of opportunity, but also lots to work through, so it will suit someone who enjoys making decisions, creating structure and taking people on the journey with them.
