The dedicated technology hub of a prestigious international private banking group is looking to integrate a Full-Stack Software Engineer into its development teams in Lisbon. About the Role

You will join one of the organisation's Agile Scrum teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions using a modern technology stack centred on Java, Spring and Angular, deployed in cloud-native environments leveraging Docker, Kubernetes and BPMN technologies.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and integrating business workflow applications, configuring business rules and delivering new features from concept to production. You will also contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing workflow platforms, playing an active role in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions that enrich the organisation's software portfolio.

Depending on your level of experience, you may also support and mentor junior developers, helping to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the team.

Key Requirements

Advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline, combined with a genuine passion for technology and software development.

Strong experience developing and testing high-quality software using object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, algorithms, UML and web services.

Excellent knowledge of Core Java and the wider Java ecosystem.

Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, SQL and relational databases.

Experience with BPM notation and workflow-based applications is considered a strong advantage.

Exposure to Angular or another modern front-end framework is nice to have.

Good knowledge of software development tools and practices including Git, Jira, Confluence, Maven, Bamboo, JUnit, Continuous Integration, Docker and Kubernetes.

Interest in DevOps practices, cloud-native architectures and modern engineering principles.

A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills and willingness to continuously learn and improve.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken. French is considered a plus.
