Financial Controller - EID em Almada, Portugal

Hiire is supporting a leading Portuguese technology company operating in a highly specialized and regulated sector, recruiting a Financial Controller to join the team.

What You'll Do

• Financial support for EID’s annual budget, forecasts and monthly closing activities, focusing on delivery projects

• Responsible for monitoring ongoing projects’ costs and margins

• Review of financial terms for commercial proposals

• Active participation in Commercial Gate Reviews and in Project Management Reviews

• Financial control, timeline and delivery tracking for project risk management

• Financial support for the renegotiation of ongoing contracts

• Provide financial data, analysis and reports to support management decisions

• Support audits and ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance

• Extract, validate, and reconcile financial data from SAP

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI

• Work closely with PMO, Commercial, Controlling, Accounting and other business functions

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Financial Analysis

• Degree in Economics, Management or similar field

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

• Great command of Excel (MS Office), with complex modelling and analytics

• Good skills in PowerPoint for executive presentations

• Practical knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analysis

• Experience working with SAP (preferred)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills in English
