The Role

The role is for an independent accounting professional who takes full ownership of annual financial statements for their own client portfolio, from underlying records through to the completed financial file. They independently manage complete compilation engagements, proactively support clients, and work with a diverse portfolio including investment funds, where maintaining a clear overview and accuracy across a high volume of entries is essential.

Responsibilities

Independently prepare complete annual financial statements and maintain supporting documentation.
Manage and review clients’ financial administrations.
Prepare VAT, income tax and corporate income tax returns for review by the signing accountant.
Prepare and support budgets and forecasts.

Must-Haves

6+ years of relevant accounting, audit or financial reporting experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS.
Proven ability to independently prepare complete financial statements.
Advanced Excel skills.
Good understanding of AI and its applications.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working with international clients.
Knowledge of Dutch GAAP or European reporting standards.
