You will joint the Industrial business unit that includes the refining, logistics, and cogeneration activities in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as the project to transform the Sines refinery through green hydrogen and biofuels.
About your future Team
You will integrate the operation team of Enerfuel, a biofuel production plant, located in Sines. You will work in an industrial environment with a high safety culture and you will be part of the team that ensures the entire operation of this Galp's industrial asset.
How will your day-to-day look like:
- Coordinate and oversee Enerfuel's Production activity (normal production, start-up, shutdown, commissioning, preparation of equipment for intervention and for start-up);
- Lead the team of Operators and foster their continuous improvement and Operational Discipline, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures and reporting incidents, near misses, and non-conformities;
- Ensure production troubleshooting (incidents, failures, and constraints), investigate their causes, and provide the implementation of corrective and improvement actions;
- Analyse and manage safety and/or operational risks that may compromise production;
- Carry out risk analyses associated with process changes, equipment interventions, installation of new equipment, and existing units;
- Ensure the goodcondition of equipment and units, requesting intervention in case of equipment failures, in order to guarantee operational conditions;
- Ensure that production targets (quantity and quality) are met;
- Monitor indicators and control data to evaluate the performance of processing units, in order to optimize the processes and maximize the margin;
- Develop operational procedures, to allow the equipment/process to be operated correctly;
- Actively participate in production planning and budgeting processes, contributing to optimizing the production strategy and adapting scheduling to changes in the economic framework, opportunities to maximize margin, and in response to unforeseen events.
