About the Role

As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and crafting high-quality web experiences from initial concept through to the final interface.

This role goes beyond creating mockups in Figma. You will work closely with other designers and software engineers to ensure that designs are translated effectively into real, functional digital experiences.

You will contribute to the evolution of design systems and front-end patterns, continuously refining layouts, typography, spacing, visual hierarchy and interface details. The position sits at the intersection of design and engineering, so a strong understanding of how web interfaces are actually built is particularly important.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Figma and the ability to create polished, production-ready designs.
• Excellent understanding of layout, typography, spacing and visual hierarchy.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for visual quality.
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS, with an understanding of how designs are transformed into real web interfaces.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects from concept through to implementation.
• Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and software engineers.
• Curiosity and a strong interest in continuously improving design skills and processes.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong web and digital design capabilities is mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with design systems and scalable UI patterns.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience collaborating closely with front-end development teams.
• Interest in AI-assisted design and development workflows.
• Experience connecting Figma workflows with tools such as Claude, Cursor or similar AI-powered solutions.
• Experience using emerging technologies to accelerate the transition from design concepts to functional interfaces.

Portfolio Required

A portfolio is mandatory for this position and should demonstrate both the quality of your work and the way you approach design problems.

We would like to understand what you designed, how you approached the challenge, the decisions you made and the final outcome.

Candidates should also be prepared to discuss a project they are particularly proud of, including why it was important, the problem it solved and what they would improve if they were approaching the project again today.
