Developer Advocate - Remote em Lisboa, Portugal

About Us

At Zyte, we eat data for breakfast and you can eat your breakfast anywhere and work for Zyte. Founded in 2010, we are a globally distributed team of over 250 Zytans working from over 28 countries who are on a mission to enable our customers to extract the data they need to continue to innovate and grow their businesses. We believe that all businesses deserve a smooth pathway to data use.

For more than a decade, Zyte has led the way in building powerful, easy-to-use tools to collect, format, and deliver web data quickly, dependably, and at scale. And today, the data we extract helps thousands of organizations make smarter business decisions, secure competitive advantage, and drive sustainable growth. Today, over 2,000 companies and 1 million developers rely on our tools and services to get the data they need from the web.

About the role:

You’re a natural connector who combines hands-on technical knowledge with the confidence to engage developers and build lasting relationships. You’re curious about how developers work, the challenges they face, and where Zyte API and Scrapy can fit into their workflows. You’re excited by how LLMs are changing software development and keen to help developers take an AI-first approach, using web data to build useful applications.

As a Developer Advocate at Zyte, your work will focus on three key areas:

You’ll grow Zyte’s presence at conferences, meetups, and developer-focused events, identifying valuable opportunities and delivering engaging talks, workshops, and live demos. You’ll build relationships with developers, event organizers, and technology partners, connecting real-world challenges with practical ways to use Zyte.

You’ll create tutorials, demos, videos, and technical resources that help developers integrate Zyte API and Scrapy into their projects. You’ll explore emerging workflows, including LLM-powered applications and AI agents, showing how reliable web data supports them.

You’ll stay close to developers through open conversations, useful guidance, and ongoing engagement. Working with product, technical, and marketing teams, you’ll turn community feedback into improvements to our tools and resources, helping developers learn, connect, and build with Zyte.
