Create a better #TomorrowWithUs

At Siemens, we build technology solutions to shape the world we live in. We transform industries and societies by combining the real and digital worlds. With over 300.000 of the world’s most forward-thinking minds and the power of a presence in more than 190 countries, we make a truly global impact.

At Siemens eMobility, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To deliver reliable, safe, and robust EV charging solutions, our software must bridge the gap between cloud services, embedded firmware, and physical hardware.

Are you ready to be part of the change? Come join us!  ⭐

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will design, scale, and maintain our development and testing infrastructure. In this role, you won’t just manage cloud pipelines - you will build the bridge between modern CI/CD automation, firmware development, Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches across our global R&D teams.

Your mission will be…

Bridge Cloud and Hardware: Design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub) that interface directly with real hardware, embedded targets, and HIL/SIL test benches.
Automate Build & Release: Build, customize, and maintain containerized build environments, cross-compilation toolchains, and firmware release pipelines.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate test bench setup, runner orchestration (self-hosted runners, lab automation), and lab environments using modern IaC and configuration management practices.
Quality & Security Gates: Integrate automated testing (smoke tests, SIL, HIL), static code analysis (SAST), compliance, and security checks directly into the pipelines.
Global Collaboration : Work closely with firmware, software, and test engineers worldwide to establish best practices, streamline developer workflows, and eliminate bottlenecks.

We are looking for someone with…

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable practical experience.
DevOps & CI/CD: Proven experience (3+ years) designing robust CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners and automated deployment workflows.
Embedded & Hardware Affinity: Experience working with (Embedded) Linux environments; familiarity with embedded build systems (e.g., Yocto, CMake, Make) and flashing/testing on target hardware is a strong plus.
Scripting & Automation: Strong programming skills in Python and Shell/Bash; familiarity with package/artifact management (e.g., Artifactory) and containerization (Docker).
Test Automation Context: Familiarity with Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups and how to trigger/orchestrate hardware tests via CI pipelines.
Mindset & Collaboration: Pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams (Firmware, Test, Cloud, QA). Excellent communication skills in English.

What We Offer

Belong & Innovate: Work in diverse teams where every idea matters and innovation grows through collaboration and trust.
Flexibility that Works: Hybrid model, flexible hours, and a home office budget — because balance fuels performance.
Health & Well-being: Comprehensive health insurance, mental health support, and active sports communities to keep you feeling your best.
Grow Without Limits: Access world-class learning platforms, mentoring, and continuous development opportunities.
Purpose & Perks: Contribute to sustainability and volunteer initiatives and enjoy partner discounts.

Please attach your CV in English to your application .
