Your contribution to something big:
Design and implement robust backend systemsusing Python 3.10+ and Django 5+, extending and optimizing database models
Implement, maintain and refactor secure APIs, actively transitioning existing endpoints into Django REST Framework (DRF).
Architect and automate CI/CD pipelinesusing Docker Compose and internal cloud/VM infrastructures to ensure continuous integration and deployment.
Secure our applicationsby creating automated vulnerability scanning pipelines and integrating secret managers into the build process.
Conduct high-quality code reviews, run integration testing with frontend developers.
Monitor and optimizebackend performance, ensuring compliance with Bosch's global software engineering and security guidelines.
What distinguishes you:
Education: University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Solid professional experience in backend software development with a strong focus on Python and relational databases.
Demonstrated experience building, refactoring, and maintaining RESTful APIs in production environments.
Practical experience setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud hosting platforms.
Know how:
Strong expertise in Python 3.10+ and Django 5+.
Deep understanding of Django ORM, SQL database design (ideally PostgreSQL), and Django REST Framework.
DevOps & Infrastructure:Solid knowledge of CI/CD concepts, Git workflow, Docker/Docker Compose, and cloud-native application hosting.
Experience with Azure DevOps, database modeling practices, cloud platforms (e.g., Cloud Foundry), and automated vulnerability scanning tools.
Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken)
