Quotacom are proud to be working with a global consulting organisation that is growing its Data & AI team and looking for an AI Consultant to join its Lisbon office.

In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to identify AI opportunities, shape use cases and work with engineering teams to bring solutions into production.

This is a highly autonomous role sitting at the intersection of AI strategy, product management and client delivery, giving you ownership of engagements from discovery through to implementation and measurable impac

Responsibilities

Client & Project Leadership

Own client relationships and lead projects from initial scoping through to delivery
Lead client meetings, workshops and steering committees
Manage timelines, priorities, risks and key deliverables independently

AI Strategy & Discovery

Work with clients to identify and prioritise high-value AI use cases
Lead discovery through stakeholder interviews, workshops, prototyping and testing
Support AI strategy, roadmap development and solution recommendations

Product & Delivery

Translate business needs into product requirements, specifications and backlogs
Work closely with AI and engineering teams to deliver solutions into production
Own the journey from discovery → strategy → product definition → delivery → measurable impact

Requirements

A background in consulting, with 5+ years of professional experience
Strong experience across product management, product ownership or product delivery
Practical experience applying Data & AI to real business challenges
Good understanding of GenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents or similar technologies
Able to identify and prioritise AI opportunities based on business impact
Confident working with technical and engineering teams and translating business needs into solutions
Proven ability to take projects from initial idea through to implementation
Strong client presence, with excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and bringing structure to complex engagements
Able to switch between strategic AI advisory and hands-on product delivery
