Main Responsibilities
The principal responsibilities of the job | The most significant actions/results that the incumbent must achieve, in order to fulfill his/her mission,
generating added value for the Organization, in a permanent and sustained and effective way
- Implement national and international accounting guidelines, ensuring compliance with current accounting-tax legislation and Unilever principles and accounting policies.
- Manage a team of two direct reports and work directly with Factory's finance team daily.
- Coordinate the monthly closing process and ensure that the reporting requirements are fulfilled on time.
- Implement, perform and supervise internal accounting controls in the areas of Source to Pay, Record to Report, Materials, Fixed Assets and Order to Cash, suggest improvements and gains of efficiency and monitor their compliance.
- Perform regular analysis and critical reviews of the Balance Sheet and P&L, to ensure that all business transactions are recorded completely and accurately.
- Coordinate and perform fixed assets accounting processes, including work-in-progress, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
- Support the team in several other tasks such as bank & vendor reconciliations, expenses processing, journal entries, vendor invoices, - Review and enhance, through digital transformation, business processes - identify gaps, optimize the efficiency and compliance of the processes.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a reliable partner to all business teams, working closely with all, providing clear financial input, identifying risks early, and supporting informed decision-making.
- Support audit processes, guarantee compliance with legal and fiscal obligations.
Education

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
Technical Skills
The technical skills that qualify and are relevant for the job (e.G. Analytical skills, Negotiation)
- Understanding of accounting principles and current fiscal legislation - Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills - Organized and detail-oriented - Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data - Great team player - Adaptable to change and cope in fast-paced environment - Confident in English on at least Intermediate level - Intermediate MS Excel skills - Strong experience with SAP
